I came across this song while watching OPRAH today and I found the lyrics to the song is very strong, meaningful, deep and refreshing. As some of us know that Melissa Etheridge is also a cancer survivor. She shares her experience, her journey with the world.

I felt an energy that flows through my body as the mind telling me that we all should always be grateful to ALLAH or the GOD you believe in. It doesn't matter which or what kind of obstacles that we've gone through in life because everyone's destiny is different.

Tonight I finally gather my self and surf to the site of Mesothelioma Survivors. I will never know the existence of this site if my husband did not do all the extensive research about my cancer. For that hon, thank you for sharing it with me. I know it took a while, but it was worth waiting. :) As for the consent letter, "yew wait a wee bit more ehh"!! :P

Such strong words that doesn't need to be explained and elaborate anymore.

I no longer bother if my body was fat or skinny or not proportionate as long as it's healthy. Now that I have what I have, all I want is to recover and try to go back to my normal life again. At least try to be as normal as possible.

I thank ALLAH for what he has given to me and my family.  Syukur Alhamdulillah.....

I always remind my self everyday when I wake up, that I have to take things easy and deal with it one day at a time.

Therefore:

I should not be stressed out because it's going make my anxiety attack from bad to worst.

It's just not worth of being angry over unnecessary issue/matters around us.

Break away from depression by looking into things that will make us happy again. (Err..like a vacation!! :) maybe..)

Let all the anger flows out of your biological system and forgive the past.

Look forward for waking up to a bright new day with your love ones everyday and thanked ALLAH for the life HE gave us today and every other days.....

My dad gave me this "ayat" for me to memorize. This "ayat" is good to read especially for people who are not well or people going through cancer like me. Insya'ALLAH...

 

Well, today will be a family day outing. Promised my kids that we would take them out today and have lunch. My son has been pastering us to go to sushi king since yesterday. Then we will adjurn to our house again for continuation of spring cleaning.

Hmmm....when I'm done with my chemo's, I want to get more greens to put at my mini patio. My house compound is all tiled up. We're not "green fingers" people but now I start to realized that my house compound is just too bare. Several pots of plants is just not enough.*sigh* My whole house needs a make over!! I WANT NATE BERKUS to do my house!!! Hah! I wish!! Wish wish Wish!! wish!! I can tell you that he is one cute and good looking gay man. Only if OPRAH reads my blog hahahahahaha...what a joke!!! :P

Ok..back to reality now....Can't wait till my chemo is over...urrghhh....

It's no longer a death sentence;

It's no longer a disease that attacks the older generation;

It's getting common in this up beat new generation;

Just like you and me, our children, sisters or brothers and relatives or families;

Don't be afraid of it;

Don't let it get into you;
