Yes, I am the very the excited today because my hubby is arriving this morning heyy!!

No more weekend visits heyyy!!!

He'll be here till I'm done with my radiation heyy!!!

Err..yes, ACER is still making that pathetic sound but I can still blog!! Janji boleh surf and blog!! (As long as I can surf and blog) So, I'm a happy camper!! Back up laptop on the way with MaleNurse. Let see..it will be +-2 hours till he touch down at Sydney airport. It takes forever to get through the customs and immigration...so he should be here in our apartment by 10-11am. Yehaawww!!

Today later in the afternoon, we're taking the little snuggle puffs to the park. Let them run wild!! Run sweet pies..run...play sweet pies plaayyy!! Mommy will just seat down and watch! :) We are a family again!! Yeayyy!!! Those weekend visits by hubby just don't feel so much like a family. Now that hubby is going to be here for 2 weeks till the radiation is over, I'm so energized. (That's because I get a break from radiation over the weekend). Woohooooo!!

Checklist for long overseas stay

As we get closer to the day of departure, I believe I have got almost everything ready, save for packing my own clothes.  The checklist below may or may not be useful for anyone contemplating a long overseas stay (medical reason or otherwise):

• Visa approval
• Flight tickets
• Travellers cheque
• Cash
• Deposit for apartment rental
• Airport transfer
• Car rental (with satellite navigation if possible)
• Location of nearest halal butcher & mosque
• Medical insurance to cover whole period of stay
• Information on broadband availability at the apartment location
• Confirmed receipt of payment by hospital & surgical team
• Allow notebook for guest access by my father

What is now left is to pack my clothes into a suitcase and get the whole family onto a plane.  Here, I would like to record my umost appreciation for the strong support of my closest friends - who has in fact been there since I was 12 year old:  A & epot - thanks for being there almost everyday in the early weeks of Mobilemom's diagnosis and for the planned visit to Sydney to visit us.  Chuntoi - your advice is invaluable, and your calls to Malaysia even though you are more than 13 hours away is much appeciated.  I don't know how else to repay the kind deeds all of you have shown, except to say thank you!
